Mental Skills Development (1 Hour)

The “Mental Skills Development” seminar will go through a step-by-step process, which will help, many of us increase our athletic and personal achievement. We will cover topics such as motivation analysis, unveiling your mission, and goal setting. Without a mission or a goal you it will be difficult to stay motivated for success.

Focus Direction (1 Hour)

The “Focus Direction” seminar will cover skills to help an athlete focus on the correct things during competition. By mentally rehearsing your performance beforehand and knowing what you want to accomplish will help you stay focused and allow you to refocus if you are distracted during competition.

Voluntary Relaxation (1 Hour)

The “Voluntary Relaxation” seminar will emphasize relaxation skills for peak performance and will also discuss the topic of anger and fear management and its importance when trying to tap into your will to win.

Understanding & Attaining the Zone (1 Hour)

Most athletes have entered the zone at one point in their career, but do not know how to get back to the zone. The “Zone” seminar will give the participants a better understanding of what the zone is, how to attain it, and how to get back into the zone once you have lost it.

Competitive Skill Development (1 Hour)

This seminar will give the participant the dynamics of competitive skill development.

Mental Skills Training Overview (1 Day)

The “Mental Skills Training Overview” seminar will give the participant a broad understanding of the mental skills needed to in the sport of wrestling. It will not only give a broad understanding but how to apply these skills. Areas of setting goals, focus direction, voluntary relaxation, understanding and attaining the zone, and competitive skill development.

Nutrition & Weight Control

In this seminar we will cover the Nutritional aspect in the sport of wrestling and teach young athletes how to manage there weight the correct way. This is an area of wrestling that can have a huge impact on your performance. You must do it the right way.

Weight Training (1 Hour)

The “Weight Training” seminar is an extensive overview of lifting techniques that will teach the athletes and coaches methods to use in the off-season, pre-season, and in-season. We will show sport specific techniques such as power lifting, plyometrics, body lifts, and circuit training that will help gain power, strength, and endurance.

Weight Training Workshop (2 Hours)

The “Weight Training” seminar is an extensive overview of lifting techniques that will teach the athletes and coaches methods to use in the off-season, pre-season, and in-season. We will show sport specific techniques such as power lifting, plyometrics, body lifts, and circuit training that will help gain power, strength, and endurance. In the workshop you will learn by doing.

Conditioning (1 Hour)

An athlete may not always be able to control his/her strength, speed, agility, quickness, and flexibility. However, conditioning is one factor that an athlete can always control. It is the Equalizer! The “Conditioning” seminar will cover sport specific methods of training that enables the athlete to build a conditioning base, acquire speed and quickness, produce everlasting endurance. These methods will push the athlete to an entirely new level. We will cover methods of cross training that will aid in conditioning. We will go through a periodization plan for the season that will bring about Peak Performance.
